Journey with Steve Gallegos, create a micaceous clay pot from your journeys with Apache Medicine Man Felipe Ortega, who will also read your pot, create a drum with Jimmy Ortega & attend an Apache Two-Spirit sweat lodge
The Vessel and The Voice begins on the evening of July 11th, 4pm. The workshop ends at noon on the 19th.
It includes:
- 20hrs instruction with Felipe Ortega plus studio time
- 8 hrs instruction with Jimmy Ortega
- Minimum 3 days with E.S. Gallegos, Ph.D
- Sweat Lodge

4pm Introductory session & Journey.
7pm Evening meal.

Sunday 11th-Monday 12th:
All day with Steve Gallegos:
Journeys to the vessel we are, the voice we have etc.

Tuesday 13th:
Morning with Steve Gallegos: 8-11am
12.30-6pm: Felipe Ortega, opening blessing ceremony, introduction to pottery.
6-7pm: Evening meal
7-9pm: Drum making with Jimmy Ortega
Venue: Owl Peak Studio & Apache Drums, La Madera NM
Wednesday 14-Friday 16th:
Mornings: Flexible schedule. journeys or freetime or work on pots, depending on individual needs.
12.30-6pm: Felipe Ortega, pottery.
6-7pm: Evening meal
7-9pm: Drum making with Jimmy Ortega

Saturday 17th:
Finishing drums & firing of pots. Reading of pots with Felipe Ortega. Sweat Lodge.
