Classes cost $75US tuition per morning of instruction. The fee includes all materials (micaceous clay, turntables, & use of tools) as well breakfast and lunch, both delightfully prepared by Felipe.
A week of instruction, 5 mornings, costs $375US. Lessons take place in the morning. Afternoons are free for you to enjoy the beach and the surrounding area, or to visit local potters and other venues. The 5 day class includes a visit to the local Mexican potters of Concordia. Airport pickup & drop off is also included for those who take the 5 day class.
Accommodation and evening meal are not included in the tuition cost.
The classes take place at the Hotel Belmar, in old Mazatlán, where rooms are available at reasonable rates, around $22-$27 USD per night, per room, depending on the exchange rate. Sea front rooms are available. The Hotel Belmar is on the beach front (Olas Altas beach), so access to the sea is a simple walk across the road. Local restaurants & good food abound and as it located within the Arts / Cultural district, there are many interesting places to visit and activities to participate in.
